Ritu Tiwari, Founder, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist
I’m Ritu Tiwari, a dedicated and experienced radiologist with a strong passion for advancing diagnostic imaging in both dentistry and healthcare. With nearly 10 years of experience, I specialize in providing precise and detailed imaging solutions that support the diagnosis and management of various medical conditions.
I began my journey in dental school in India and went on to complete a master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology. Afterward, I spent three years working as a consultant at DSO/imaging centers. Upon relocating to the US, I worked as a research affiliate at UC Santa Barbara for a year and then completed a second residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at UCLA. Currently, I am an assistant professor at UT Health Houston, where I teach Oral Radiology and contribute to the clinical practice by providing CBCT reads.
My goal is to improve diagnostic accuracy and provide accurate radiological insights. My research interests include integrating artificial intelligence models into dental diagnostics and education. Presently, I am working on a project focused on developing a standardized annotation tool to identify degenerative joint diseases of the TMJ.
